Rhodes Minnis Village Hall is situated just off
Longage Hill and Whitehorse Lane, next door to the Methodist
Chapel on Chapel Lane CT4 6XR. It is
easy to find and only 2kms (1 ¼
miles) from Lyminge. The Village Hall provides a low cost
facility for the benefit of local residents .This late 1980’s
building is ideal for children’s parties, quizzes, meetings,
social, educational and fundraising events. There is a medium sized hall (9m by 7.2m with a
ceiling height of 2.6m), storage room for tables and chairs, an
entrance hall, a large fully equipped kitchen, male, female and
disabled toilets, a large parking area and excellent disabled
access. The hall has an efficient heating system and there are
many power points in the hall and kitchen. Capacity- closely seated 100 persons, dancing
100 persons, seated at tables 70 persons, seated at tables and
dancing 80 persons. There is a small group of Trustees who work to
maintain the high standard of the hall and ensure it is safe and
pleasant to use. The Hall has recently been awarded Hallmark 2 by
Action With Communities in Rural Kent. The Trustees also run two Flower Shows a year
in April and August. These are very popular and entries have been
rising over the years. All are welcome. The hall has vacancies for either regular users
or occasional private hirers on weekday mornings and afternoons
and weekends all at competitive prices. There are special rates
